Welcome on in and thanks for tuning in to the video. Make sure to leave a like and subscribe to the channel for weekly Umamoose content. I’m trying to upload at least once a day, but every now and then we fall behind a little bit. Regardless, we’re happy to have you in the community. And once again, thanks for watching. So, the Leo Cup is coming up, and some of you might be wondering, especially if you’ve seen any of my past live streams here or videos, where do I stand on my commentary on this, given that I was only able to achieve a third place in the Bracket? And while we can attribute that to my awful, horrible person of an air groove, passing my own Saiyan Sky on the final corner, so she didn’t end up using her alt. I I digress. Um, anyway, still a little tickled about that. Um, but that being said, I have been doing quite a bit of research and I like to believe that although I do not have the best support cards or legacy characters in the world, therefore, I might not have a top national ranking Uma for the races, it doesn’t mean that I can’t still do my research and understand what a good Uma looks like in this race. And you know, if you’re one of those people that is competing on a national and or global level, you probably won’t get a whole lot out of this video as we are just kind of going over the basics of the race and my suggestions for this upcoming Leo Cup. For anybody else that’s more of a casual player, I thank you for tuning in and we’re going to go over a few things starting with the race itself. The upcoming Champions meeting is called the Leo Cup. What that means is we have in store for us a 2200 meter race. There is no downhill during this race. It is a extremely uphill race and it is on a medium track. It’s on turf. The race goes clockwise. The turf is firm and it’s going to be a sunny summer day. A lot of people that have been fortunate enough to pull Summer Maru Zenski are probably going to be using her in this upcoming cup as well as other front runners such as Saiyan Sky and Mayano Top Gun. There are a lot of good options, but what I’ve gotten the most out of my research is that this is one of the most forgiving races for being able to train pretty much whoever you would like. In order to complete this race, there are going to be some essential skills for this race. If you’re running as a front runner or maybe even a pace chaser and or a late serger, you may want to invest in getting the angling and scheming skill. as this procs when you are in the first place around the last corner and because this race does end on a corner angling and scheming for anybody that is fortunate enough to have the front spot around that corner is going to get a massive speed boost and blow out of the pack. We used this method with our Saiyan Sky in the previous Champions Cup at the Cancer Cup. And while it wasn’t always successful because we didn’t have her trained up to where we would have liked her, the times that it did proc and we were fortunate enough to be in first place, she almost certainly took home the win every single time except for the last time. Red Shift LP1211-m is another skill similar to angling and scheming. you can get it uh varzenski. Um the skill itself increases acceleration by shifting gears when positions toward the front on the final corner or later. So this means that it can activate a little bit later than when you just pass that mark on the final corner. However, it is going to be at the last end of the race, which is going to be super beneficial since it is a uphill. Having this boost is going to help out quite a lot. Shooting for victory is going to be another fantastic skill for anybody that has the ability to take the front spot at the end of the race as it just as equally to angling scheming and red shift gives a boost to speed while in the lead around the final corner. And you don’t actually technically have to be in the lead as far as my research shows. Um the skill description itself just says that you are well positioned. So, I unfortunately have not pulled the UMA for this, so I have not been able to use it quite yet. Uh, however, we are going to be doing this on mobile to be testing it out a little bit, and I will give some commentary on that later. Let’s pump some iron is going to be a great positioning tool as it’s going to allow you to increase your acceleration in order to move up the pack on the corner of the late race. Which means if you have this tacked on with angling and scheming, red shift or shooting for victory, it might allow you to take that first spot in order to proc your other ultimates. Front runners, pace chasers, late surgers, and end closers are all going to be viable options. However, the majority of the people racing are most likely going to be using front runners. runners are going to be a little bit harder to train their aces and the widths are most likely going to be a little bit lower than normal, meaning there’s going to be quite a few of them. People are going to be using two front runners or maybe even three in some cases. I don’t recommend that, but you may see two front runners per team. This means that they’re going to be upping their chances of getting one of their UMAS to use their skills and end up taking those positions. One thing to keep in mind when building your team is deciding on whether or not you want to use late surgers, pace chasers, or enclosers. These could potentially be a good option as since the majority are supposedly going to be using front runners, there’s going to be a lot of frontr runner debuffs going into play. These debuffs are going to highly affect the stamina. And if you have an encloser and you’re up against a team that doesn’t have any debuff for enclosers, uh, you might be sitting pretty. So, I personally am going to be using one front runner, one encloser, and one debuffer on day one. And then on day two, depending on how the success goes with that, we may switch over to two front runners and a debuffer and, you know, maximizing our aces and seeing if they can proc their skills. However, that’s going to be our strategy going into the Leo race. For the stats of our UMAS, especially for our front runners, we are going to be aiming high. What we’re going to want to do is max out our speed. Ideally, get between an 800 and 1,000 in stamina and a 900 in power. If we can get our wit up to 500 as well, then that would be almost the perfect build for us, and we would love to see that. However, that’s easier said than done, especially given the support cards that I have currently. However, if you have a lot of support cards and they are maxed out MLB and you can get a ton of extra points, those might be highly achievable stats for you. But remember, at the end of the day, it is just a game. It is highly RNG based and you might not get the perfect Uma. We do have plenty of time to train though, so I highly recommend aiming for stats with your racers around these suggestions. We’re also going to want to make sure that our aces have inherited groundwork and also get focus and or concentrate. These are two that we’ve saw a lot of in the Cancer Cup and going into the Leo race. I’m sure all of you just as much as myself have realized that these are no-brainer skills and in order to really compete in any way whatsoever. You need to have at least one of these to help you get the edge on the racers that do not and just, you know, stand shoulderto-shoulder with those that do. For building your debuffers, you have a couple of options. Now, we all know that wit increases the chances of our skills activating. So, you can either build a debuffer that gets a very high wit and lower stats and not expect them to really win their races, or you can even build a debuffer that could potentially contend. However, they may have lower wit and have a lower chance of activating their skills. I personally just like to see getting that first place. So, I’m not too pressed about getting a full team victory. However, if you are, you might want to pick your skills wisely. Skills like dominator, skills like all CNIs, anything that’s going to affect front runners, even trick can be listed there as we can see on the screen right now. Anything that is going to affect runners late race or any runners that are front runners could potentially help your team out. Having so many front runners in the competition coming up means that your pace chasers or your late surgers and maybe even your end closers are just going to be absolutely left in the dust if they’re able to take that early lead, get around that final corner and activate their skills. So, anything you can do to slow them down in the meantime is going to be extremely beneficial to your team. My current recommendations and what I’m doing myself for support cards are naturally going to be using a Kison Black in order to get her recovery skills, professor of curvature, and a multitude of other skills that she has to offer that can help you out on your race. Other support cards that can be extremely helpful are going to be Super Creek as you have a chance of getting Swinging Maestro. And once again, if you were a part of the Cancer Cup going into the Leo race, you probably know that everybody’s going to be activating Swinging Maestro. Gourmand is a good alternative if you don’t have a Super Creek and you can get the Gourmand skill. either that or if you’re even a little bit lower on the support cards, and I am right there with you. I don’t really have very good support cards for stamina, just choose the best one you have that has the best blue skills. Skills like deep breaths, corner recovery, straightaway recovery. These are all going to be things that will help you make up for any stamina that you are not able to train during your career. There are many options for support cards that can help out a debuffer. The best thing that I can suggest to you, since everybody has a completely different deck of support cards, and frankly expecting everybody to just go online, find the meta and be able to use a Kison Black, a King Kalo, an Agnes Tachion, a Super Creek, and a Manhattan Cafe that are all maxed out is just really unrealistic. There are some whales out there that have a bit and yes, I have spent a bit of money on the game, but frankly, my early game decisions have completely bricked some of my support cards. So, you know, I I don’t expect you guys to have the best support cards available. Go through your deck and know what kind of build you want to use. Are you going to be using a three-speed, two stamina, one trainee deck? Are you going to be using a three-speed, one stamina, one wit, one strength deck? Whatever you decide on, and that’s going to be highly dependent on the UMA that you choose and the stat bonus increases that they have, you’re going to want to check to make sure that the support cards that you do choose in those categories have skills that you’re going to be able to use. For instance, this gold ship, Groundwork. She’s got two debuffs, one for long races, one for enclosers. I do like this gold ship. However, she is not very high. I only have one unlock for her. Therefore, uh she doesn’t start out with a very high friendship bonus. So, I might not even end up using her. I’ll probably give it a few go since we have plenty of time. But I also like my silent Soua because she has a lot of skills that I can use to train my frontr runner aces. Go through your deck, look at the skills, take some time to choose which one is going to be the most beneficial for you. I have a few speed cards and frankly this Sakura is not going to be super useful for me as her skills are pretty much geared towards sprinters. She does have flustered front runners, but we can get frontr runner debuffs through other means. And if I’m going to have a speed card, I will prioritize my silent susa because I want my speed cards bonuses to affect my aces. And having frontr runner skills will do just that. Now, there are no perfect builds that most people can achieve going into the Leo Cup. Albeit, some of us are far far more lucky than others. If you have summer marizens, you get groundwork, you get angling and scheming, red shift shooting for victory, you have two amazing debuffers, and you manage to max out speed, get a 900 in power, a 600 in wit, and a,00 in stamina somehow, you’ll probably be sitting pretty. I don’t think you’re going to have all that much trouble with the uh Leo Cup. But if you’re like uh me and you know you’re not the best PvP runner in the world, I think some of these strategies and methods that I laid out here today will come in handy and maybe get you your first win if you haven’t been able to do that in one of the champions meets so far. I know I was really excited when I got my first one and I hope you all have success in the upcoming Leo Cup. I will be doing live streams for my training in the coming weeks. I will also be releasing more PvP videos for training guides on each and every UMA that I have scouted and potentially ones that I’ve scouted on mobile if if I’m able to get those support decks leveled up and actually achieve good outcomes. But anyways, thank you for tuning in. I hope you got something out of this. Make sure to leave a like on the video and subscribe to the channel. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them in the comment section. I’m trying to being as active in there as possible. And I hope you have a great day and good luck on your training.
