  8. From 1st to 12th, just like that. The Undefeated streak came to and end, the series of G1 Victories within the filles came to and end. And ultimately that momentum by Kawakami Princess fizzled out soon after.

  10. ・Kawakami Princess is a foal of King Halo.
    ・Fusaichi Pandora's jockey is Yuichi Fukunaga, who rode King Halo in his second and third years as a jockey. He was too inexperienced to control King Halo(Dancing Brave x Goodbye Halo).
    ・King Halo is the dam's sire of Equinox.
    ・Fusaichi Pandora is the dam of Almond Eye.

  12. Sadly, Kawakami Princess would not win a single race after this incident; perhaps she was affected by it. Meanwhile, this race would be the only G1 victory for Fusaichi Pandora, as she would also struggle later on. She eventually had a relationship with the legendary Lord Kanaloa, giving birth to the 9 Crown G1 winner Almond Eye. However, in the Main Story 2 of Uma Musume, the story gave a redemption for Kawakami, who moved towards the outside and chased Pandora instead of moving inside the pack in this race.

    As for King Halo, Kawakami Princess's result revalidated his potential as a stud and gave chances to create great horses. Eventually, he will be the grandfather of one of the best Japanese horses and the World Best Horse of 2023, Equinox

  13. One of the crown moments of the Main Story Part 2 is that they redeem this race for both Kawakami AND Pandora. Really recommend watching that version to anyone that hasn’t

  14. I still love how many witchy and Bewitched references you can make with Sweep Tosho.

    Not only is her dam [mother] Tabatha Tosho, and her dam's dam [mother's mother] Samantha Tosho, down her sire's [father's line] there's his dam Broom Dance, and her parents Dance Spell [sire] and Witching Hour [dam], and Sweep's sire's dam's parents (great grandparents) Thinking Cap and Enchanted Eve.

    So dang magical 🪄

  19. I came here knowing nothing about the outcome of the race, so poor Princess's demotion came as a shock to me just as much as anyone who saw it at the time. She let her Princess Power get too out of hand! Good for Pandora and Sweep, though… I love all of the mares, so I can't be all that mad.
